We had an outstanding experience buying our home in Newmarket with Assaf at Maizel Homes. From the very first showing to closing day, Assaf's deep knowledge of the Newmarket real estate market was clear. He understood neighborhood values, school zones, future development, and exactly what to look for in resale potential. He was patient, responsive, and honest, never pushing us toward homes that didn't fit our needs or budget. His negotiation skills saved us thousands, and he made what is usually a stressful process feel smooth and exciting. If you're looking for a trusted Newmarket real estate agent who genuinely puts clients first, Assaf and Maizel Homes are the team to call. Highly recommended for anyone buying a home in York Region!

Working with Assaf Maizel was a strong overall experience. He demonstrated a solid understanding of the market, provided clear guidance throughout the process, and was consistently responsive to questions and concerns. Communication was straightforward and professional, which made the experience less stressful, especially during key decision points.

One of the standout aspects was his attention to detail and willingness to explain things that aren’t always obvious to buyers or sellers. He didn’t rush decisions and made sure everything was properly understood before moving forward. That said, like most agents, there were moments where timelines felt tight, but that’s more a reflection of the market conditions than his approach.

Overall, Assaf comes across as knowledgeable, reliable, and committed to getting results while keeping clients informed. If you’re looking for someone who balances professionalism with a practical understanding of real estate transactions, he’s a solid choice.
